Buying Pre-loved Supplies
Buying pre-loved craft supplies is a little different from buying new. Items are often one-offs or available in small quantities, and may show signs of previous ownership.
We aim to describe each item clearly and photograph it accurately, so you know what you’re buying. Measurements, quantities and any noticeable marks or flaws will be included where relevant.

What do you sell?
LifeCraft Studio offers pre-loved fabrics, trims, notions and sewing supplies sourced from makers’ homes. These are items that are no longer needed but still suitable for practical making and creative use.
Stock is varied and often made up of one-off or small-quantity items.
Are items new or second hand?
All items sold are pre-loved unless stated otherwise. They come from personal sewing rooms, studios or collections and may show signs of previous ownership.
We aim to describe items clearly so you know what you’re buying.
What condition are the items in?
Condition varies from item to item. Where there are noticeable flaws or marks, these will be mentioned in the product description or shown in photos.
If you’re unsure about the condition of a particular item, you’re welcome to get in touch before ordering.
Will an item be restocked once it’s sold?
Most items are one-offs or available in limited quantities, so restocking the same item isn’t usually possible.
New stock is added as materials become available, rather than on a fixed schedule.
Do you accept returns?

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs depend on the size and weight of your order. Full details are available on the Delivery & Returns page and are calculated at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, orders are shipped within the UK only.
Can I donate items?
Yes! We accept donations of sewing, knitting and textile craft supplies from makers who no longer need them.
